    Hello cushion,

You can send me your flash files and I will have a look if you like. Otherwise you could have a look at a book called Flash for Animators, which I found helpful. I could lend you my copy next time I see you.

There is little in animation that you cannot learn from practicing with a flickbook. the program stuff should be well within your grasp- also don’t get to hung up on character design and drawing- it is all in the illusion of movement, the flow of images. The expression amongst animators is ‘ it’s what goes on between the frames that counts’.

also remember to play with the illusion of depth and volume (z axis) in 2D

    there. That’s everything I know.

I’m fine, Hope you’re well too.

    All the best, Will

Can any one join in on this line…….. Harriet, eh ! I need advice on getting Bees in the Park up on screen. HEEEElp.DAD.com.

    Hello dad,
hows tricks? You should be able to get Bee Control as a quicktime movie, by clicking the link thats in the films catagory, under the name of the film.
If when you click the link you get a page with a big “Q” logo on it, then the link is working and you have the right software, in which case it may just be that trying to get a film down a dial up connection is like a snake trying to swallow an elephant.

(Have you read the Little Prince by Antoine de Saint Exupery? in which a boy’s drawing that looks like a hat to adults was intended to be a frightening image of a boa constrictor digesting an elephant). Well it’s like that only with wires and films, rather than snakes and elephants.

I just remembered I’ve renamed the “film” category to “Animation” but I’m sure you’ve been there already, and it’s more of a snake and elephant problem.
