‘Bee Control in City Parks’, a 5 minute film I made in 2004 over about 2 weeks of deranged activity. It was put together using footage of Ashton Court Park in Bristol, a sculpture I had already made out of a Fruitmachine, old toys, dead bumble bees I had found, and a building I made out of fibreglass. Photo’s of the sculpture (’Fruitmachine’) can be found in the catagory ‘Sculpture’ up on the top right hand side of this page.
It is a Municipal Information Film, such as Open University used to screen at drunk O’clock in the morning, before they went onto the fashionable DVD format.

Frank wants us to watch your film, but alas it will not load on this computer provided by my corporate masters. Can you put it on google video so the world can enjoy it?
I think it already is…but it came out kind of fuzzy…hold on I’ll go and have a look
yep. It’s still there and still unwatchably fuzzy. I’m going to upload it again now, so don’t watch it for a few minutes…
Right… I had some problems uploading
{technical note: using Google Video Uploader 1.0.4, a “Cannot login as…” message kept coming up, solved by going here http://www.google.com/accounts/DisplayUnlockCaptcha and unlocking myself}
but Bee Control in City Park is loaded up onto Google Video. It will take some hours to appear ‘live’. I have loaded up some other films too…
there done it. Changes throughout site for those whose corporate masters won’t let them download bees.
